MIFF 2009 … where trade matters most

The 15th edition of the Malaysian International Furntiure Fair 2009 (MIFF 2009) will be held from 3 - 7 March 2009 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) spreading over 85,000 sqm of exhibition space. Both the venues will be connected by a non-stop shuttle service throughout the duration of the show. Renowned as a one-stop furniture buying centre in Southeast Asia, the Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) series emerges as a complete solution offering strategic location, wide variety of products, coupled with convenience services that meet the needs and criteria of manufacturers and buyers from around the globe. Exhibitors will be exposed to new and different markets while maintaining the already forged businesses. MIFF’s credibility lies in it’s capability of attracting buyers from the most diverse countries by origin under one roof for great business potentials. Externally audited results of the MIFF 2008 recorded a total of 19,549 total visitor (inclusive of invited guests) with 7,410 international buyers from 137 countries, with USD 690 million (RM 2.17 billion) worth of sales generated during the show. Buyers came from Europe (20.9%), the ASEAN region (17.9%), the Middle East (12.4%), Australiasia (9.7%), followed by the Far East (7.6%). The MIFF series strives to continue being a more design orientated show that excels in style, innovation and quality to cater to the needs of the international market. In its quest to present diverse innovative products, exhibitors at MIFF are carefully selected to ensure visitors return each year satisfied with their purchases.
