For MIFF 2008, MECC will be specially dedicated to the display of sofa and household furniture whereas PWTC will highlight office and household furniture to convenient visitors to the fair. This will assist visitors by facilitating their product selection and choice while maximising the time spent when they are here. With many fairs taking place in the month of March in the region, MIFF has constantly differentiated itself by being the only show in the region that keeps constant pace with changing trends be it in products, design styles as well as material use. Furthermore as the Organiser places high standards of quality in accepting innovative exhibitors, visitors to MIFF are able to meet their various sourcing needs and goals in the respective market niches and environment. As you may witness at MIFF annually, exhibitors offer products of creativitiy, ingenuity and originality and this attracts visitors to return to the show. This is evident from the majority of visitors’ comments that constantly indicate that the fair is a place of endless opportunities. In 2007, MIFF achieved a record of international visitorship from 135 countries. MIFF attracts the highest number of buying countries each year among the global furniture exhibitions, even though the show is not the biggest in the world.
Growing from strength to strength in its 14 years of existence, the Organiser ensures that the quality of the show keeps improving in line with market needs and requirements, providing ample opportunities to its base of high profile buyers. MIFF being a renowned show worldwide serves buyers and suppliers from the industry and related businesses as an important furniture trading platform for buying, sourcing and exchange of information. In line with its appeal as an internationally recognised tradeshow, the Organiser welcomes quality participants from the world over to tap into Asia’s networks of expanding furniture markets. This coupled with Kuala Lumpur’s multilingual environment facilitating ease of communication offers the perfect regional trading platform to East Asia’s market of over 2 billion people. Tapping into an exclusively targeted audience, exhibitors are given the opportunity to raise their company profile in the industry, showcase their new product offerings and strengthen their customer database in new and existing markets, while positioning themselves among market leaders.
